SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

 

Funding the cost of higher education in healthcare can be a challenge; so, we’d like to help. The EHPN Scholarship will be awarded to ten Eritrean refugee students currently enrolled in a university level course of studies in a healthcare related field with $1,000 each. The scholarship will be awarded at the EHPN public event on XXXXXX 2026 in Los Angeles , California. Applications are open to Eritrean refugees worldwide. Application deadline is XXXXX , 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be an Eritrean refugee

  • Must be currently enrolled in a healthcare related higher education program (Open to applicants worldwide)

  • Program must be from an accredited institution in its respective country

Application Details

  • Personal Details In English
    Please include your full name, phone number, email address, and home address with your application. 

  • Proof of Refugee Status In English

  • Personal Statement (300 - 700 words) In English
    Please tell us about yourself and why you would like to pursue a career in healthcare.

  • Proof of Enrollment In English
    Please provide us with documentation proving your enrollment in a healthcare related course of studies at an accredited higher education institution.

  • Photo of Student ID In English
    Please provide a photograph or scanned copy of your student ID. 

  • Video Introduction:

    A short video in English introducing yourself, your current field of study, your future goals in healthcare, what inspires you to continue your education, and how this scholarship would help support your studies.

  • Letter of recommendation (300 to 500 words) In English
    If you would like, you can include a letter of recommendation with your application. The letter can be from a personal, academic, or professional reference.
